Biography
He’s one of the most prolific Italian Dj/Producer. Since 1987 he's been working on club and radio conducting and producing several programs of club music, finally as Art Director and Senior Manager in labels coordination. In 2000 he produced his first remix for Soul Providers (Rise, Soul Heaven) and then he starts remixing and producing lots of records for: Who Da Funk "Shiny Disco Ball", Johnny Dangerous "Beat That Bitch", Da Lukas Vs Maetrik/Maceo Plex "Didascalia" Joey Negro Aka Jakatta "Ever So lonely" Z Rec-Oxyd, DJ Linus (Get Physical), John Acquaviva, Gramophonedzie, Jose Nunez, Cari Golden.
As well as releasing for a wide range of club labels including Snatch!, Ministry Of Sound, Milk & Sugar, Pacha, Hed Kandi, Rebirth, King Street , Purple Music, Cut rec, Raid/Strictly Rhythm, Urban Torque, Sud Beat, Gruuv, Rise, EGO, Hot Fingers (with Federico Scavo and Daniele Tignino). He co-produced new records with Psycho Radio (Daniele Tignino, Da Lukas. LC Anderson), highly appreciated by Dj’s, Clubs, and dj's chart.
Recently he co-produced as “DKS” his latest two single together with Ashley Slater (Freak Power - Fatboy Slim).
He shared many console with DJ’s as Daniel Miller (Mute Records) and many others big names, Riva Starr, Different Gear, Jestofunk, Tim Cullen and many other..Da Lukas is one of dj resident of one of most importand elettronic festival "Music Summit" where he played on Ministry Of Sound party at Cannes for the MIDEM.
His name is constantly selected on many charts and dj selections, radio show and to anyone with an interest in modern House music. A kind of Funk attitude on his music production has helped him to notch up a fan-base that ranges from Pete Tong (Essential Selection), Kraak & Smaak, Roger Sanchez, Dj Sneak, Nic Fanciulli, Mark Knight, Mousse T, Danny Tenaglia, Dubfire, Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Carl Cox, Groove Armada, Laurent Garnier, Riva Starr, Booka Shade, DJ T. Music Week Cool Cuts Chart Top 20, including several reviewed on DMC World Magazine, Mixmag and more.
